I regret not going to college when I was younger without a child. I should of done it when I was still living at home. I can't change the past but I can change the future by working in the presence.
I am a returnig college student. Proud to say two more semesters and I will have my assc. degree. I will keep walking down the path of education so I can have a good paying job.
I regret not doing this when I was younger because it would of been easier then doing it now while I raise my child and work. As I look back at my past, if I could change it, I would change my attitude and make myself grow up. I had the brains for college but lack of motatvation and an attitude of who needs school, I will just get a job.
I think this bothers me because I have to say no to my child. I would like the choice to say yes or no.

I'm 46 now and while there have been bad times in my life there also have been a lot of good times. I have two great kids and I wouldn't take a million dollars for either of them.(Nor would I give a nickel for another). If I were to change anything it might mean I wouldnt have 1 or both of those kids. So I guess I'll play the hand I was dealt and not change (or regret) anything.

I know how guilty that would make you feel! But if things were that bad for him, most likely he didn't care about the phone bill. If he wasn't going to have a place to live, he wouldn't need a phone. He was desperate and needed to talk to someone. At least you have a conscious. In your own way, you did help him by talking to him. I'm sure he was aware of the excessive charges when he made the call. I didn't think we were here to judge people, but try to answer their questions?? A good philosophy to live by is to never say never! Worse thing I did was tell a lie at work that someone close to me died so I could get time off with pay. I used a relative that I loved dearly, but she had been dead already several years.

I would not have dated all the older guys I did. I look back now and realize what sickos I was dating (never had sex with, just dated) how could a 20 yr old want to date a 15 yr old? That's just sick and wrong. It caused my mom and I problems, and I regret it to this day. My mother is my best friend and I hate the fact that I hurt her because of some sick SOBs that wanted to date a lil girl, and I thought it was cool. Made me feel grown. Thank God I never done nething with them that I would regret even more.

I'm quite young, only 16 and I do have some regrets...I regret not having been into reading for a loong time and if I could go back, I would change this, because I feel I've lost something valuable.

I regret not having seen more of the world when I was young and unattached. I would not change the past unless it would not affect the present because I do like my life now.

My greatest regret is wasting my youth. It's something many of us do and few of us realize. As John Lennon said, life is what happens while we're too busy having fun. The problem is that we have to reap what we sow.

My greatest regret is that I have so many. If I had to chose one, that would be not spending more time with my kids when they were young.
