I have a mac and a PC running side by side. I have the keyboard and mouse wired to an interface box that controls both at the same time. I'm running the same resolution and fonts, sizes, Etc. What I do to test them is run Photoshop and design a heavy 3D graphic and watch the machines race to complete tasks Every click and mouse movement is identical on both machines. So the true winner is the box that completes the task first. I design, point, click, draw, and render an image. While the image is rendering and the Mac vs PC battle continues, I turn around and get some real work done on my Linux Box.

It depends what you're using your PC for. If you want to do gaming, then a PC is better because everything is written for the PC. If you want to set up a Linux server, then a PC is better. If you want to read email and surf the web, then a Mac is pretty good.

They're both awful..
Can't connect window$ to the Internet, can't risk buying an Intel Mac :-(
You're probably better off chasing Ripley to the good ship Linux and nuking both from orbit...
And yes, that depresses me too!

Neither system is better, they're just different.
However, the new Mac's are a beauty to behold. Twenty years of MS-dos could go down the drain.
