Age only becomes a factor in any relationship if you let it. However in relationships where the age gap is significant, as one partner gets older their partnership and territorial needs begin to differ. At fifty for example is it right to be boogying like a twenty year old just to please your partner ?
What happens if you have children with a partner old enough to be your parent. I will not say it is wrong but you always have to consider the consequences of your actions.
Love may be blind, but do you really want to put up with the comments and snide remarks from your family and friends ?
Age only matters if you havent thought it through properly and are both strong enough to support each other emotionally.
At the end of the day it is your decision, but make it together, and if it is what you truly want DO NOT let anybody sway you.
I hope sincerely that you can find happiness, I never did but someone else can.

Sure age matters: if one person is 24 and the other is 15 it matters a lot.
If you're asking that we should assume both are well into adulthood, then age is less of a concern. At that point, it's more about what the couple has in common, shared interests and the like.
However, age COULD be a concern if children are involved, and I'm speaking in terms of biology and health. If the age difference is SO great, will the father be around to see the child go to college? If the woman is older and desires children, can she still conceive? And so on.
So, yes, age can matter no matter how much you like someone.

Yes !!!. And I don't mean peadophilia. But what's happening when your partner is 78 and you are 48! Most people do not foresee essential problems, especially old age
