This seems to be becoming more and more common where I live. I have seen pregnant women wearing crop tops or regular tops with their pants pulled below their bellies. I think this is disbusting. There is nothing attractive about a big belly, whether you are just fat or pregnant. I just find this in bad taste.

In response to the answer about me having a child myself, I have a child and I didn't go around with my belly showing when I was pregnant and as far as the miracle of a new life, there are too many new lives in this world. Nothing special anymore when people pop one out every year.

Ugh, I think it's revolting! It's almost as bad when they wear tight tops that show their popped belly buttons. Yuck yuck yuck!
Frankly, I think about 99% of those who show their bellies - pregnant or not - should NOT!

Not gross, but in very poor taste. It looks trashy. A woman's pregnant belly is special, it shouldn't be treated as meat to hang out. I say cover it up, be tasteful about this, and honor the baby inside.
If your mom was pregnant, would you like seeing belly hanging out? I'd be the first to cover her up if she ever did that. She wouldn't btw, she's passed away, already went through menopause, and had much more class than that.

I think it depends how it is done-and I think it is totally different than just being fat. A pregnant woman's belly doesn't even LOOK fat, it is firm and round and smooth. And rather or not you like the look of it, it does contain a new life. It doesn't bother me, at any rate. Maybe when you have had a child of your own you will feel differently?

It may look gross, it may even be in bad taste. Nice thing about all of this is that YOU can always look away.
AND, there is definitely a BIG difference between a fat belly, and one that has a developing child within it.

you get so many specially designed loose clothing in u.s, then why should they wear regular clothes? but i woudn't call it exactly in bad taste as such, it's more ignorance, or carelesness. it also depends on the stage of pregnancy. in advanced stages, the belly should be protected, and they should be careful. in india, since salwar-kameez and a saree is common attire, their bellies are almost covered. at home, they wear gowns. try to speak to a woman who is wearing pants pulled down, in good humour, if she herself doesn't feel a little self-conscious,or shy, to show her status, will she not be more comfortable in special loose clothes? you may get the answers, or be prepared to get, mind your own business! so better ignore!

The person who wears clothes gets to decide what they wear. They probably think it is attractive. You may have a prejudice against a natural form of the body (pregnant).

A lot of women enjoy the natural look they have about themselves when they're "showing".
They enjoy it, and I'm sure not everyone enjoys everything you wear =) So just remember, "to each their own" "live and let live"

I think the whole process is a beautiful thing.
Good for them if they're proud of creating and developing a new life.
So no, I don't think it is gross, unless they are already obese to begin with.

I think it is important to feel comfortable with your body. However, it is also important not to make people around you feel uncomfortable. Ladies who let it hang out disgust me.
