No way.

Chance for peace will improve when then the Hamas cult is 100% shut down, and the Arabs free of their wicked indoctrination.

No, there will not ever be a true peace in the Middle East. The goal of the Arab population is to "push the Jews into the Sea."

If this cease fire goes through with Hamas, it will be short lived, and it will start again, just like it always has.

Hamas needs to do more to stop the violence against Israel. Since they don't have a history of non-violence, the Israeli's nor anyone else can trust them to be all about "peace". Hamas is going to have to illustrate to Israel and the world that they truly want a peaceful co-existence. I wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen though.

The world is governed by the aggressive use of force, always has been always will be. Any concessions to Hamas will be interpreted as weakness. Peace will come when one or the other is defeated. Hamas's stated intent is the elimination of Isreal. No compromise will ever be reached until the palastinians love their children more than they hate the Jews.

I would hope so. But I know better from watching them and knowing what they believe. Iran Syria and others need to become parkinglots of Isreal if they continue. Remember Isreal bent over backwards to try and get along but Hamas just couldn't let it be. I don't blame Isreal one bit for taking the offensive against these terrorists. And when they finish the parking lots I hope they put in a Walmart lol

No. There hasn't been peace in the region ever. When one group believes the other does not have the right to exist how can there be peace? Hamas / Hezbollah = Hitler.

It is extremely doubtful given that Hamas doesn't believe Israel has a right to exist. If that doesn't change, then the discussion goes nowhere.

It seems like that is unlikely that it will increase the chances of peace by much. If he doesn't show restraint, the chance of peace probably will not change by much too.

NOT likely, BY electing hamas the palestine people said they are not ready to give up the fight. Have to remember hamas has been a militant organization/party.
