Of course not...if it were, we wouldn't need eyes or ears or nerves. Maybe you are asking, is there a way the mind can experience without physical senses, and I would say yes there is.

Yes, with your mind's eye (It's call meditation) Located at the point between your eyebrows. This is referred to as "The Third eye." it is this very reason why people in India have this dot placed there.

Yes, in a differerent way with the eyes closed, you can see much.
I recommend meditation to master this. I personally practice this kind (www.dancemeditation.org) but you could start with yoga or zen or aikido or tai chi. Start a meditative practice, that's what it's all about.
