consider when you say "cheap"...you are going to get what you pay for!....if you are looking for wholesale pricing, you need a resale license...if the sites do not require a license and advertise wholesale pricing MOST require a minimum purchase of at least $100.00....if you ask most beaders...it is not an inexpensive hobby (tools wire and the collecting of beads) it becomes an addiction... the need to bead!...if you are looking for instruction....there are several archived patterns (for the stitching-off loom beading and basic stringing) throughout the web just do a search!...I personally have a bead store and have fair pricing...i am not a chain like other hobby stores so i cannot buy the volume that they can...but i offer everything needed as well as classes....(strungoutbeadsonline DOT com) you SHOULD shop around (please excuse my juvenile page...it is trying to grow up!)
....just remember your local bead stores and supoort us!...afterall, we do not have magnified pics of beads suggesting larger size, and no color enhancement...when u go into the store...WYSIWYG....once you start beading, there is soooo much to do...like lampworking (making your own beads out of glass rods!~) and art clay/pmc moldable sterling/gold clay where the possiblities are endless...and TRUST ME that medium is not cheap and HIGHLY addicitive..LOL...if you intend to sell your stuff it is best to use the good stuff or u will be repairing LOTS!..anyhow, you should be able to find LOTS through a search with links to others feel free to contact us though....happy beading!

It really depends on what you're looking for and where you are. One store may have a better price on findings, while another will be good for crystals. Shop around. I usually start by googling something like "sterling silver findings". Don't forget to check every local store you can get to - you may be surprised to find that it costs just as much (or less, w/o shipping) to buy something in person as it does to order it online.
And even if it doesn't, you should actually look at, and learn the names and feel of the bead shapes/colors/sizes available before you order them -- you want to know what you're getting, right?
For ideas... try going to your local bookstore and sitting in the cafe with some beading books and magazines for ideas and tips. If you buy a coffee and put your books back the staff won't hate you (take it from me, I work in one) and you'll get cheap ideas/tips. Bring a notebook if you think you won't be able to remember the info.

www.RocknRocks.com has beads at very reasonable prices and also has a how-to section that they are working on. They used to have some projects at www.rocknrocks.net too.

I buy my stuff from RockNRocks off eBay. I usually get great deals from them, especially on findings. I make my own jewelry and never took any instruction so I couldn't help you with any instruction sites. Also, local craft stores like AC Moore, JoAnn's and Michael's are good, especially when they are having sales. Good Luck
