well, i don't really think you put this question under the right category....but anyways, sit down and talk with your girlfriend and present a reasonable argument to why you should be able to talk to her x without any bad feelings. you have to make her see that the world doesn't revolve around her and that her x is still your firend. help her to realise that in order to move on she has to forgive and forget which includes not restricting you to certain friends....i hope this helps :)

If she broke up with him, that is only between him and her and I would talk to him if I wanted to.
You might want to not have him over when she is there, but she should not try and control you.
Sounds like maybe your friend still has some feelings for the man.
I would make a policy not to speak with either your girlfriend or her x-boyfriend about each other as they may get back together and then you will become the one no one is speaking with...ha.

Tell your friend that you and her ex-bf were also friends and you don't wanna lose his friendship because of their breakup. You will minimise how much you talk to him but you dont want to lose either of them because all your friends are important to you. Besides, assure her that she shouldn't worry because you know your limits. She's probably afraid that he will go out with you next, so just make sure you don't hurt her feelings either. But you gotta explain to her. Good luck!

Talk to who you want, if your friend has a problem with that then she isn't a good friend to say who you can or can't talk to !

if she broke up with him and thinks that you should not talk to him there is something thats going on or went on that involves you which she does not want you to know about. Aren't you curious about what it is?

ignore her, you have a right to talk to him. maybe she thinks that you and him might get together, that's why she said it. Even if you and him met threw her you can still talk to him, whats wrong with ur friend?
