It appears when you are printing something and disappears when printing is complete like it says in the Windows Tour. You don't need to install anything to your hard drive or use any software.

it should happen automatically when you instal the software...I personally take mine of because the more operations you have in the task bar the slower your computer.
You could reinstall the printer after removing it.
or you can go to start click run, type in msconfig then go to the start up tab and click the printer progam and hit apply then restart computer

Go to printer folders from the start button. Select your printer. Right click and send to desktop.
