Those are both really great fields. They both have a high demand for college graduates, provide excellent salaries, and are satisfying jobs. However, you have to consider what you are most interested in. If you join the medical field, you will most likely have a direct contact or impact on patients. You must be very compassionate and have great people skills to do well in the field. If you go into engineering, you must be more technical and scientifically oriented. There is a lot more emphasis on math, science, and computers. You may not get to interact with patients as much.
You could also look into biomedical engineering. This is a specialty of engineering which helps to develop or improve technologies in the medical field. For example, they have worked on the new robotic machines being used to do surgeries. This provides the best of both worlds.

Its a question which only you can answer. Choose what yuou are interested in, go where the heart leads you.
Most professions are great. If you choose engineering there are variety of specializations to choose from; and moreover you can get away with just bachelors in engineering and still get paid well.
But medicine doesnt end in just getting a basic degree. You will also need a post graduation in the specific field you choose. It is money consuming as well as time consuming; but finally very rewarding.
Moreover if you are interested in biology in school, andlove human beings and would like to be around them, choose medicine, if you are more physics and maths oriented, and love doing technical work, go for engineering

Both pay well, so it is up to you:
Medical field will also reward you for saving lives, but you may not be able to handle it when you lose a life.
Engineering will be great if you make a discovery, or finish a project, but then what if your work ends up in the hands of somebody who uses it for ends you do not like.

hmm the most important things that u have to considered is what is ur enthusiasm in ur education.Im sure during ur high school, ur have learned a subject that related to biology, physic, math and chemistry. The requirement for engineering and medic courses in university needs u to have strong knowledge in related field.Actually the decision depends on yourself. If u more into calculation, developing n creating tecnology, the engineering field is preferable for u.Conversely, if u are more into memorizing method, this will helps u much in medic study. However ,ur knowledge in both medic or engineering should be strong enough to complete your study at higher level.Im advise u to make a discussion with your parents, teachers and other experienced person before u make a decision.
