I'm 58 and a retired chemist. My "salary" is determined by what I choose to pay myself to supplement my small pension. I'm happy with that and made my decisions about it when I was a child and decided to make something of myself. To boost your income now is hard. You need to start young. Your salary is already high. My guess is you need to adjust your lifestyle.

24, Finance, NY 70k - Not happy with the salary, because NYC is ridiculously expensive. I can barely afford to live in the crappiest studio apartment in Manhattan, where in most of the rest of America I'd be way above average.

I'd say entrepreneurs are the happiest beings on the planet. The ones I'm around are. They get the most money, have the most freedom, get the most items, are the most creative, are the most charismatic, and are the most free willed. They're simply magnetized for abundance.
