Why did you get that doubt.
He is a very good fielder in India and one of the best fielders in the recent cricket. He can also smash some important knocks with bat when team needs it. Though he currently not on top of his form but he played 2 good innings against Windies.
I think you've heard about the saying that "Catches win matches". According to that fielding is also an important aspect of a match. It is in the fielding that we have won over Pakistan last time.
So he should play next WorldCup'07

Might be. But he should play because:
1> he is a very good batmsn. some great knocks: when India bt England in England in the 2002 finals of Natwest Tri-Series, Kaif's 66 that steered India to their only win in WI this year in St. Kitts
2> he's a supreme fielder in ODIs, alongiwth Suresh Raina & Yuvraj Singh, he's dives & throws reach its destination!

No.. He is good player but I think he is not good for World Cup 2007 bcoz he look very slow day by day in ODI Cricket
