UV is not blocked by clouds. Visible light is. Always wear sunblock.

Actually, that's very common because most people think they are safe, so they don't put on sun protection. (When I was in middle school, I got my worst burn that way).
The sun actually penetrates the clouds + the clouds will sometimes reflect the rays back, so you can definitely get burned.

I always heard that was the easiest way to get a burn becuase the sun is still there, but you don't feel it as much.

even though you don't think there is any sun its still there. so you're probably out in it longer thinking you'll be fine when infact you're not.
