That is not at all true .. almost all pack animals and animals that live in social groups will "war" with other packs of the same species for hunting grounds and the like. It is well documented behavior from lion prides to groups of mountain gorillas.

What are you talking about? Animals fight each other all the time, over females and the like. The only reason no open war exists between animals is because they do not have the mental capacity to organize into mass groups. If they could do it, they would.
If what you said was true, then my cat wouldn't have a tear in his ear and various scars on his head.

No other animals on earth have language. Yes they have communication but not language. Only humans.
Because we can use langauge, we can express ideas. People with different ideas usually get attacked, even today.
If humans could only communicate like a dog or a chimp, there would not be NEARLY as much hostility.

Animals kill each other every day, even dogs.
They also kill their young, some species even eat them.
In most species the males will be more aggressive, just like in the human race.
I guess you have been brought up watching Disney cartoons...

Simply put, in war we are part of a war machine sanitizing in some way the killing is acceptable...As an individual, with a name and social background there are consequences to actions. Anonymity is gone. The violence is lessened. The normal ? person acts a bit differently when names can be associated with them. The extremists and aggressive person waves their vulnerability under conditions of duress. In part..temporary insanity behavior...Violence is a part of everybody...whether it shows out is our choise..free will I guess...

there are wasps who lay their eggs inside living spiders. humans and ants are hardly the most vicious creatures on earth.
In fact- we're the only creature on earth that can be forbidden to kill or harm another organism for our own well being.

Ya got dogs & chicken same over & over ...Down the chain of life... instinct to live ...Kill or be killed. Hard fact of life but, true. If someone hurts you want to hurt them. thanks

And it's not just humans that harm others for no apparent reason. There are documented cases of dolphins engaging in sadistic behavior (i.e. torturing other animals).

Because sometimes it's easier to do the wrong thing out of anger or misplaced logic than it is to forgive.
Remember the Bible, it is easier to succumb to evil in the hearts of man (or woman for that matter).
