The difference
Diary- telling your inter most personal thoughts and feelings about someone
Journal- what you've done, what the progress is, plans, and info about other things on a daily basis, research, science projetcs ect

A journal is basically a name for a diary of somebody that is embarrassed that they have a diary. Its true!

there really isn't one, ppl just don't like to call a place they write their secrets a diary.
