Actually they do burn their feet. A fly's "foot' or tarsus is quite sensitive and when they land on a scortching hot bulb, they feel it. An insect's exoskeleton may give them a little more tolerance to the heat, but even that is not complete protection. Tiny hairs on the insect's feet may be damaged by the intense heat of a bulb, this would also decrease their ability to hang upside down or to stick to very smooth surfaces. I hope that answers your question.....It was a good one!

they are going to in the adventure that they stay there lengthy adequate. For the most section flys and different insects received't land on a mild bulb simply by the indisputable fact that is warm or maybe although they're small the warm temperature will kill them in the adventure that they stay there for too lengthy. If a computer virus receives trapped in a mild fixture with a warm bulb on the point of it that's going to die. have not you ever lengthy gone to airborne dirt and dust a mild fixture and positioned a dried up crunchy computer virus?

Try touching a light bulb when its been on for a loooooooooong time. Your hand will burn. The fly is more sensitive and responds to stimuli faster. Its resistance capability is more and it doesnt burn.It has these gooey things on its feet which protect it-check it out!!!

Actually they do, that's why you see them Swarming AROUND the light bulb, it's really annoying, but, not much can be done about it, Just buy a mosquito zapper, they work about 70% of the time.

i think they do get burnt but i dot think they will stay there for long but if your talking about florescent bulbs, the heat is not that strong because the phosphorus lining helps reduce the loss of wavelenghts of infrared or ultraviolet light. hope i helped.
