I'm an American. When Vladimir Putin was first elected I was optimistic. He has done some good things for his country, but I am uncomfortable with his actions when it comes to his backing of Saddam, Iran, and North Korea. I am also uncomfortable with his actions to take the Russian people back behind the curtain in regards to the press. I think history will bear him out to be a very dangerous man, who should have been paid attention to a little more closely.

Hello dear!
Well, I think that after Gorbachev, others than Russians are ruling the great state named Russia! Thus, I think even Putin is greatly influenced by outside powers! Never-the-less, Putin is a strong player and very accurate in keeping his stand!
