Now that you mention it...
He does come from a time when there were many gay celebrities and characters were on TV, but who never were referred to as gay, of course. Can you imagine? Even Huckleberry Hound might have beaten him up.
What really captures my imagination, though, is that my grandfather used to call me Snagglepuss when I was a child -- and he died when I was seven. Maybe he was picking up on something in both of us.....

Theres this cartoon out called "Drawn Together" where one of the episodes surrounds one of the characters realising he's gay. The other flat mates hold a "coming out" party for him, where snagglepuss and Elmer Fudd are invited. They are both totally camp and it is quite funny!
So yes, i do think he is gay!

Sesame Street is a gay propaganda machine.
Ernie and Bert were lovers, as was Big Bird and the Snuffaluffagus.
What about Mr Rogers? And Lady Elaine?
And Racer X was definitely a leather man, while Speed Racer was a total Twink! Trixie was a fag hag.

I frankly Never Watched it before, it was said that he was gay due to his manner of speech, The cameo appearance he made was based on few running rumors that he's gay.
http://drawntogether.wikia.com/wiki/Gay_Bash#Animated_cameos
I have watched a scene of it, i was disgusted as soon as i heard the way he speaks.

I always thought he was, but didn't realize exactly WHAT that was when I was younger, just thought him a bit different.
And it doesn't make me like him any less....he was one of my favorite cartoon characters!
Oh, and your link doesn't work. :)

What an obscene question. Attaching sexual orientation to inanimate objects, or cartoon characters is childish. If they had meant for him to be Gay they would have said so. There are plenty of Gay cartoon characters who are out. Being Gay is not about being effeminate, there are plenty of effeminate heterosexuals. Look at Frasier!
