I believe technology is the reason that the illusion of existence will continue and thrive into the future. If technology is allowed to be deployed in it's fullest advantage our species could govern the galaxies. I do not believe one can speak for all mankind but for myself technology has allowed for a more active and enjoyable life. As far as the slave thing goes, I'm a Canadian Citizen from the True North Proud and Free; I'll never surrender to anything below God.

That really depends on the individuals. You could blame anything for making a person lazy! What about TV? Or just sitting on the porch or park bench all day watching the clouds go by?

Different strokes for different folks! We are not all cut from the same cookie cutter.

But of course, if you are talking addiction then this is something else. Anything that interferes with the quality of family life or personal life should be examined by the individual to be sure they are not suffering addition.

Good Luck!

If well used all technological developments are good for the mankind. But we cannot control the individual's mind. Some think that the facilities are for my comfort and they search for more and more new ones. They are the ones going into the slavery.

For me that question is similar to asking are guns bad? Both computers and guns are inanimate objects that are used by humans not the other way around. How an object is used is up to the individual that's controlling the object. The judgment of whether the use of that object is for good or bad depends on your definition of what constitutes good or bad.
