Did you hold down the "ON" button for 6 seconds?

If holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds does not work, then unplug the laptop and remove the battery.

Try this. unplug it, turn it over, remove the battery, wait a minuit or two and put it back in. this should cure your problem if not it's probably a motherboard issue. Use your warranty.
