Who should I root for? My grandpa was from Naples, and my Grandma was from Limousin. My sister lives in Bologna. My Mom was born in Paris.

I thought that the French team were too old for this WC.. but look at how far they've gotten to.. Besides, they have Ribery, Sagnol.. Trez is not that old and so is Henry and Viera. Plus, I don't think of them as old, I think of them as "experienced". After all, with this much pressure on them tonite, I bet the players need more of experience compared to youthful stamina.
Football is a game of not only kicking a ball into the goal, but it also a game with its own sets of strategies and tactics. Sure, Domenech seems to be lacking in the 'strategic' sense when he selected most of the veterans for this WC, but that tactic seemed to pay off as France now is in the Finals.
I personally want France to win the WC because Zidane deserves a proper swan song. And as for Italy, Del Piero and Totti are both veterans as well, and last time I check, they were also instrumental in getting the team to the Finals.
I wish both teams the best of luck. I hope the match will be entertaining and of course, my wish would be for the French to win! Viva le France! Allez vous Zizou!!

they're not "TOO" old. yes, they are oldER, but not too old. Their experience might be their strength, while Italy's youth might be theirs. I'm personally pulling for Italy.
