he may of caught her when you were not looking as once a female is pregnant they wont accept the male.
but this running around is all part of the mating if your sure she is not pregnant and she does not attack him after a while either just leave them tougher of keep placing them together when she is ready she will allow him to mount her until then you'll just have to Wait for her to get frisky.

Do they live together anyway? If so, try separating them and then taking the girly to the male after a few days. If the male isn't interested, you could try 'pointing him in the right direction' so he can smell her.
As for the whole running away thing - it's part of her behaviour, so long as she doesn't become aggressive it's cool.
Otherwise, there is no right or wrong time for mating rabbits - ovulation is spontaneous (so they only produce eggs when they've been mated).

Their are many reasons why your bunny is running away from THAT male bunny. Maybe, the f-bunny, wants to get to know this m-bunny? Maybe the f-bunny, is not getting the vibe or sense from this m-bunny. I believe that , in cases like this, nature has to take it's course and the mating process, can't happen under false pretenses. Good Luck, maybe it will happen or not. Besides, if your f-male remembers the other litters,What would she do it again??

Dont think "Oh, its a male and female rabbit, they should just be doing it all day". Like people your female rabbit just may not like the male.

.. Why ever do you want to breed them????Rescue centres are full of dumped rabbits; people just let them loose and they are murdered by other animals. Dont bring any more into the world to be starved and neglected and shut into boxes in the dark. PLEASE

why do humans find it hard to accept that animals of the same species may not ALL find each other attractive.

WE DON'T and it doesn't seem odd to us or does it?
