How can Bush see "An Inconvenient Truth" when he is so strapped for time, taking vacations at Crawford ranch, and then playing a poor game of Stratego with our men.

If Dan Quayle made a movie, would you have expected Bill Clinton to watch it? This is a political thing.
I guarantee you that president Bush has some of his people see that movie and report back to him. He will not remain ignorant, but the President's job is not to know everything about everything. He has experts advise him.
As for the movie being accurate, what they stated is that the SCIENCE is accurate. They never said that the conclusions are accurate. This is a trick that is used in the media all the time. You have to listen to what they are NOT saying. The science, for example, the process for taking temperature readings, is a science, and that may have been done accurately. But the conclusions will be colored by the political viewpoint. For example, just a few years ago, these SAME scientists concluded that, because of the EVIL United States and our pollution, the earth was facing a coming ice age. When that didn't catch on, they changed their tune and decided that their conclusion was global warming.
What they didn't tell you is that hundreds of years ago - NOT THOUSANDS OR MILLIONS - Antarctica was not covered with ice as it is today, and neither was Greenland (Why do you think they originally called it GREENland?)
The earth has been getting warmer for a long time, and the conclusion that it has just started getting warmer in the last hundred years or so coincidentally coincides with the fact that no one was measuring the temperature hundreds of years ago.
Remember, the only thing you know about President Bush is what his enemies (the liberal media) want you to believe. Can you ever trust what someone's enemy says about that person?
The liberals have been stating for years that conservatives all want to destroy the air and water. Why on earth would they want to destroy the air and water that their children and grand children will breathe and drink? And most of the largest companies that pollute the worst are run by people who vote democratic.
But the liberals will tell you how many millions of dollars these companies give to the Repbulican party. What they don't tell you is these companies donate just as much to the Democratic party. It's called hedging your bet. They don't know which party will win, so they contribute to both sides so that whoever wins, they have that party's ear.
Anyway, the fact that you even know what Bush said about Gore's movie shows you what the liberal media wants you to know. Why did they run that story, leaving people to believe that Bush is closed minded, without pointing out that he has people designated to watch the movie, and all the other documentaries and gather other facts from many sources about this and thousands of other issues every week?

It is a movie. Which means it is supposed to be entertainment. It is not produced, directed, edited, documented by scientists. Al Gore is an environmental wacko. Nothing he concludes is reasonable.
President Bush is not in denial. He knows the source of the movie. Remember the 2000 election?
Over the years scientists have said lots of things. Frequently they have been wrong, such as "the earth is flat" or "every heavenly body revolves around the earth." DDT was banned. It was banned, based on junk science. It is not harmful to humans, and people in Africa have been suffering with, and dying from, malaria ever since Rachel Carson made money by selling a book.

GWB is not a conservationist nor an environmentalist. He does not want to be exposed to the truth on this issue. Shame on him!! He is clueless when it comes to this subject. I do hope that the next President will do something about this enormous problem. You will get some flack for this question by Cons who if they have nothing useful to say Liberal bash. There is some argument on the subject. And part of the problem is a normal climatic cycle but we, humans, are a big factor. Without our input the cycles would not be accelerating.

Actually, the other day in an interview, Bush said that he was solving global warming through his energy policy.
Now, I don't believe that he is, by any means, but at least he's finally admitting the problem exists.
So, do you think conservatives on this board will actually begin admitting it?

Bush has spent his whole life avoiding reality. He was born with a silver spoon up his butt and it wouldn't surprise me if it was discovered that Bush's grand parents gave so much money to Harvard and Yale that when it came to allowing Bush to graduate they said, "We gotta kick up his grades and let him slide through with a C average, its' not like he's ever going to be president or anything"
