Just use scissors and cut them at the desired length.

well, i used measuring tape, and went straight across, drew a line and cut them with some sturdy scissors. Then i frayed the bottoms by used the scissors i grabbed the ends with the scissors and pulled and snips a little to fray them

Just use the scissor to start the tear, then TEAR them the rest of the way. I sew, and if you want an even, along the same thread cut, tear them.

seriously? ok first youll need and electric tablesaw, some razor blades, a big old fashioned bear trap, some ice hockey skates, a perferated edge fron a tin foil box, a switch blade and a machete, if you can find any kind of sword grab that too! now go tell everybody you see what your up to they will find a happy place for you

Cut the pants legs off right wear they meet the crotch. Cut all the way across, and vola!

match it up with ypur shorts and use a fabric marker and then just cut it off

lay them out,get a ruler n mark on them how short u want them,then cut them off,b4 u wear them put them in washer,n they will look n feel goooood..
