call your mayor or whatever is in your down to do a grand opening tell them the papers ill be there. they love to have their picture taken. call the papers so they show up its a great feel good story for them. stay away from spending money on ads in local papers or TV they often get overlooked and don't produce enough traffic. make your business card a coupon people don't throw away coupons but do throw away business cards. make it for the first visit then you don't need to put an expiration date on it. the yellow pages already will list your business number for free so don't waste start up money there more people use the Internet to find things nowadays anyway. target customers that would use your business and get flyer's in their hands again with a coupon. depending on your type of business there are a multitude of free things to do to get the word out. and last but not least. treat every customer with great respect and service because they tell a few others about how great you are. get one mad and they tell everyone they know.

Search keywords on what ur business does on all the major search engines. Then investigate the first 10 pages looking for all the free listing sites you can find to list your site or business. You will be surprised how many web-sites that rank high on search engines offer free listings. Superpages is a must for example. Superpages will also give you some minor statistics that are useful. There are many others.

there are some websites that are completely free to advertise, and you dont even need a website of your own to use them. I would suggest getting a website but its still great to advertise on all 10 of these websites because they have so much traffic.

Write an article for your local weekly paper describing where you are located, what you sell, and when you are open for business, etc. Give as much information as possible. Announce any grand opening or perks you are willing to offer clients. Hand deliver the article. It's free in most cities as long as you do the typing double spaced with proper grammer, punctuation, and spelling. It will cost you paper, ink, and time.

Hi, First you need to focus on a group of people who gonna buy what u r selling ( product or service) beside you need to make you marketing plan every year and thats important. you can try the mobile advertising , so people can see you product live and let them see how do you make it. so u can take orders at once . but remember , you have to focus on a group of people , and every group needs a plan.

Google ad words. You can set your budget (say $50 per month) and people searching for your product or services will be directed to your site.
