Many women I know consider anal the best sex they've ever had...for many it just tends to take some getting used to, and a slow process of the male getting inserted because the sphincter is a tight muscle.
I've tried with partners in the past, but no success. I'd try again, sure...maybe with the right partner, right amount of patience, and right position it'll work some day...but it wouldn't be JUST for him, it would be for us both...

If someone said that they would go to extreme measures to satisfy their spouse, then I suggest that they have an insecure marriage. No, you shouldn't have to do something that you are uncomfortable with. And your husband should understand.

when men have anal sex, it's usually to have a more tight effect, and if the man gets too exited, he might not take the other person in consideration so they wouldn't know if they are hurting them. i love anal sex with my b/f and especially when it's hard, but he knows how to start slow and lead up. you need to find that balance to enjoy it. i have gone to extreme measured to please my b/f and it was well worth it. he will never let me forget it.

No I would not. There is a limit to try and satisfy your mate. That to me would be over the limit. That could cause damage to your body. It can tear the inside of you if not careful and cause you serious pain. So no I would not.
