George W. Bush. W = Dubya. Say it out loud, just a play on his middle initial.

His father, and our former president, was George Bush, Sr. To distinguish between father and son, Bush, Jr. is referred to using his middle initial of "W". Initially, he was referred to as George "W". The "Dubya", is a play on words. It is used by anti-American propoganda pushers to make a mockery of the southern dialect of the people throughout the homestate/region of our current President George W. Bush. Unfortunately, it is gaining popularity among our citizens.
***Rense you may be embarrassed for her, but I am embarrassed for you. As the saying goes, there are no stupid questions, but there sure are stupid ANSWERS. Yours is surely one of them!

W is his middle initial. It's the Texan way of pronouncing double-u.

That is how people in the South prononouce the letter W. Which after all is pretty good considering they have that chaw in their mouth and swigging beer, while hitting on their sister.
