it is sad but true, it is starting to be the new math for companies, downsized, over working employee's, it frustrates me to no end that companies are boosting the profit numbers in these ways.
-they are plundering there work force, increasing work loads to the point of burn outs.
-and now because it is becoming a scocially aceptable they are actully validating there internal coruption with those types of excusses.
- i for one am making a stand and when ever i am fed one of those lines i right away the ask them for a refund because you have just addmitted to the fact that i did not receive the service that i paid for.

I understand what your going through. I am a human resource trainer for waffle house i have 19 stores and believe me it is hard to get any one to work these days but much less good people, but i do not agree that you should use the excuse short staffing. It is just an excuse for people to use just because they may not have enough people working doesn't mean they can be rude to you.

Glad to here its not just in Gretna La. Thats the same thing they say here. "We are so short handed, ever since Katrina". Its been almost a year later and they are still using that lame excuse.Just wish for once they would over staff the place.

No complaints get through like not giving places with bad customer service any more of your business. It's pointless to complain and continue to pay them to treat you poorly. There are always alternative solutions even if they are less convenient.

majority of the time it is, and is easy to use. another huge part is poor training, and another and probably the biggest is poor management. if the employees see the upper management not caring, they won't care either.
