The most poisonous snake in the world is the Fierce snake of central and northern Australia. Of the worlds 10 deadliest snakes, 7 live in Australia but you probably won't see that on any Australian tourism site :)

The most poisiness snake would have to be the australian brown/tiger snake. If you do reasearch you will find that 7 out of the 10 most poisiness snakes are found in australia.

I used to think it was the karait, but after watching Steve Irwin last year, I agree with the above posters that Australia has the most venomous, and the brown is probably the most powerful of the bunch. It probably wouldn't be hard to find out by checking wikipedia, but I'm not really interested, so you do it.
