I think the fighting between the people of Arabian culture and Israel is inevitable, but I only think this is the case because of a culture and religious perspective held by the Arabian nations which is impelled by Islamic militancy and anti-Semitism, a virulent form of bigotry that is at the heart of their religious framework. It seems the only way for this conflict to be resolved is for the Middle East to become secularized. As long as their hearts and minds are held hostage by Imans who spew Qu’ranic based hatred, there can never be any meaningful dialog between Israel and any Islamic nation.

A rational democratic state, such as Israel, can never have dealings with nations where there is a popular sentiment that the killing of non-Muslims, in the heat of battle, would lead to otherworldly rewards. Remove the barrier of antiquated religious concepts and then Israel and Arabian nations can truly address what lies at the heart of all this discord. Until the encumbrance of unthinking piety is removed from the collective consciousness of the Arabian people, Israel will continue to be subjected to violence, even though it has been more than accommodating to the Arabian nations.

It's been going on since 1948. You would have thought that, since they and Israel were so close to peace, finally, that the Arabs would have been happy. No -- in order to keep the horror going they elected Hamas, the terrorists to run their new government. I think at this point that the Israelis need to just get it over with, go in and kill all the terrorists, take over Palestine and then come to an agreement with whoever is left. Sorry - But the Palestinians lost any right to sympathy when they put terrorists in charge!!!

Not all Arabs hate the Jews of Isreal. In fact, there are many Arab Muslims that hold political office in Isreal and are quite happy there.

The Isrealis have tried many time to end the conflict between them and their Arab neighbors. For example, Isreal ended their occupation of Gaza with the hope that the Palestinians would matain order there. What happened is that Gaza was used to launch missles into Isreal. Then Palestinians kidnapped several Isrealis.

If your neighbor continually shot at your house because he wanted you to move and the police (UN) didn't stop them, I think that you would take it upon yourself to do something to stop him.

We fight a continuous war against prince and principalities, Good and evil. Islam and Christianity, which religion is the true one, is God Black or White? Man against his parents. Arab against Israeli... Whose land is it anyway? All these factors have affected our lives from the beginning of time. My feelings are that all nations and people should live together in peace and to believe in one GOD. Once this is realized - then perhaps we may one day dwell together as one nation under God, ... with liberty and justice for all.

I can't answer this. This person is ridiculously simplistic. First of all, it's the Arabs or Arab nations versus Israel. Do you know anything of the history of the area? Probably not.

Israel must become a democratic country and stop being a racist one. So Must the neighboring countries become democracies. I think then permanent peace might be possible. As an interim measure, Israel must let go of the occupied territories. How can you have peace while subjugating a people and not recognizing that they have rights equal unto yours?

You mean the war of the outcasts, both Arab and Jewish.......
its been going on for a thousand years. There are many Arab
countries who do not follow what the radicals are doing.
They, too, are in fear of this type of insult to Islam. The Arab
League needs to stand up against this intolerance and, maybe
then, we can hope for peace at last.

Sadly it will go on forever. It's never stopped since the Crusades.
Many people say Love and Hate are balanced. But I think the Palestinian/Israeli conflict is an example of how much stronger "Hate" really is. I can't think of anyone Loving anyone else for this long.

Because the UK put all the left over Jews from WW II into a place they had no business being, I think this will continue until the middle east is a radioactive wasteland.
