Well, i just used system of equations on most of them:
1) x+y=53 x=53-y ----> 53-y-y=15
x-y=15 38=2y
x+19=53 19=y
x=34
2) x+y=51 2y+3+y=51 x+16=51
2y+3=x 3y=48 x=35
y=16

3)Uhhh.. I cheated and just charted it out, the answer is 3 and 15 at the present time.

4)6y-x=20 >> 6y-20=x >> 2(6y-20)+4y=56
2x+4y=56 12y-40+4y=56
16y=96
6(6)-x=20 << y=6
36-x=20
16=x

5) There's really not enough information to do it algebraically, so I think all you can really do is guess and check. So it could be: $5, $5, and $2 or it could be $6, $3, and $4 or it could be $8, $4, and $2. There's multiple answers.

I can't answer all your questions, but I'll show you how to do the first one.
A+B=53
A-B=15
Solve for A in the first equation
A=53-B
Substitute your new definition for A into the second equation
(53-B)-B=15
53-2*B=15
Add 2 B to both sides
53=15+2B
Subtract 15 from both sides
38=2B
Divide both sides by 2
B=19
Now substitute this definition of B into one of the first equations
A+19=53
A=34
Your answer is 19 and 34
If you're trying to get other people to do your homework you'd probably be better off if you try to find the teacher's edition of the textbook you're using online. You might even find a used copy for very little.

Take one question. The difference of two numbers is 15. Now you need to convert it into mathematical expression. Let the unknon two numbers be x and y. Their difference is x-y. As per the problem the difference is 15. so, x-y=15.........(1)
Similarly, x+y=53.........(2)
add (1) and (2), we get 2x=68
x=34
substitute x=34 in (2)
34+y=53
y=53-34
y=19
Hence the two numbers are 34 and 19.
Like this, first you convert the word problem into mathematical expressions and then solve the expressions. At the end interpret the results in words. Practise this. If any problem take the help of a tutor.
