Do you think that this thing might be disrespecful to the wife? I wonder if other men think he might be in an unhappy marriage looking at other women.

I think all men do it and unless he does it in your presence it is not disrespectful. Men are visual creatures so they are always going to look and make remarks about what they see. I dont believe it necessarily mean he is unhappy in his relationship. It is not a crime to look as long as he dont touch. Besides there may be a man somewhere looking at you as eyecandy. :)

Oh, sweetie, it depends on the man. i've hung out with guys all my life and you would not BELIEVE some of the things they will say. It DOES not mean they're unhappy, andsometimes they even tell each other how great thier wives or girlfriends are. It's true! I've heard it! Oh, and that girl, over there in the too tight top? The one who seems to have every guy in the place drooling? I've heard the comments about her, too. It ain't always flattering, words like flabzilla and skank are said. Even men realize when a girl is being a sl*t, and men are vicious about it. They even say how glad they are that their woman would NOT act like that. It's fun to watch, for the committed guys, but unless they are a total a$$ they truly want nothing to do with it.
I'm as jealous as the next girl about my man, but my wrath is directed at women who come on to him, because he just won't bite.

I think almost all men look at other women.

I think its disrespectful if this happens in an extremely obvious manner in front of the wife, or if it causes the husband to ignore the wife, even if its only a short period of time.

If a particular guy is the only one talking about women, in his group, all the time, then I am pretty sure the others will think there's something wrong.

On another note, if you're not happy with this, you should tell him, and he should then be more discrete!!

Most men, will look. I know me and my girlfriends still look, and talk some junk together, but that's all it is. Hey, I'm 40, not dead. This however doesn't mean that I don't love my husband, and I do have enough respect for him not to do it around him. As far as his friends thinking he is in and unhappy marriage, well, most men don't think like that at all. They are basically just hanging with their buddies, and talking some junk. If this is done around you, tell him if it bothers you. Looking and cheating are two different things. Maybe you and your girlfriends should take a look around too. Eye candy comes in two varieties.

Other men are thinking the same as your husband. Your husband looking at other women has nothing to do with you or your marriage. I am sure he is very happy with the marriage how it is. All men like to look and most of them have a general way of thinking, like most woman have a general way of thinking. Maybe you can get your husband to talk to you about how men think. It is very interesting.

Ladies men look at other women. We are visual. It becomes disrespctful when they oogle, stare, whistle, flirt or make lewd comments. Twice as disrespectful if you are with them at the time. Even the best husband around will initally catch that first glance of a beautiful woman. You appreciate the beauty but you cherish the wife at home.

Almost all men do this to some degree. I don't think it's abnormal. However, anything can get out of hand, and yes if a guy is constantly going on and on about other chicks, his friends will start to lose respect for his wife.

Honestly, I'm amazed he even told you.

i agree with pathfinder. i also think that the other men would think he is unhappy if he has to look at other women. he should be saying "oh, hmpf! she's got nothin' on my wife!" instead of looking at another woman. why did he get married if he wants to look at someone else? talk to hubby and tell him that this bothers you. if he really cares enough for you, he will stop this behavior now before he begins to lust after these other women. good luck!

All men love to look. However it is usually only when the wife is not along. He should respect you enough to not hurt your feelings. I think most men, if they see enough of there wife's, undercover, it would not be something he must do.

If you have problems in your relationship this eye candy may one day begain to make him fat. It is disrespectful to you. WHY does he need it.

Looking is one thing, if it leads to more- Then you've got a problem! Girls do the same thing. Don't you ever notice attractive men? Thats all he's doing is noticing them. If it gets to the point that he is uncontrollably gawking or doing it in front of you then be concerned otherwise- you have no need for concern!
