Yankees! They are hanging tough!! They need Sheffield and Matzui back plus some help with their pitching. If they can stay close for another month until they get those two back and maybe pick up a starter they can pass Boston......again!!

Yankees...the fans are loyal (who else can claim such a long wait?).
I was at a Red Sox/Yankees game at fenwaypark recently and was shocked at the behavior of the red sox fans when their team started losing...they WALKED OUT when it became obvious they would lose. When as we were leaving with the few that stayed they were chanting like children Yankees SUCK!!" (They certainly hid this fact quite well that night).
Loyalty trumps rudeness every time. so in other words red sox suck cant even spell socks
