The rights we fight for are the ones everyone has. We can't justify kicking anyone out for their opinion.

No, you don't understand, or you would not have asked such a foolish question.
It may have escaped your notice that our Constitution permits dissent for the very reason that it is healthy to keep a government answerable to the people. Some of us dissent because we love this country so very much and hate seeing it taken away from the principles that made it great.
To hate a meaningless and illegal war that is killing and mutilating thousands is not "hating the troops." Objecting to leaders we see as not doing their job and not supporting and defending the Constitution is being an active participant in democracy.
I find it more than a little hypocritical to hear whining about "hating our leaders" now that was dead silence when certain right wingers were attacking President Clinton.
Liberals have every right to be here. As far as going somewhere else, perhaps you extremists would be happier in another place where you could entirely ignore the Constitution and make special little rules of your own in your happy, oh-so-conservative dictatorship.
At least you got one thing right: you really don't understand.

A) "Libs" don't hate America, or the troops, and you just show your bigotry by stereotyping all of them in that way.
B) Like it or not, liberals have done a lot of good for our country. And yes, conservatives have too.
C) All 'liberal' really means is a willingness to consider new ideas and stray beyond tradition if it's a reasonable idea.
D) Michael Moore is not the standard, or ideal, liberal.
E) Just like Ann Coulter bastardizes all things conservative.
F) Liberals don't leave because they love America and don't want to see her self-destruct under bad leadership.
G) Haven't you seen the studies showing that if you put people of the same mindset in a group and exclude people who think differently, that group tends to shift to extremes because they egg each other on? Imagine how many wars we'd be in if all we had running the place were completely pro-war conservatives. We're already hemorraging money at a high rate and owe a *ton* of money to China, among other places. Your hated 'liberals' want to make America independent from that kind of debt, and want to make America free of the need for foreign oil, which frankly would keep us out of a lot of messy situations.

We love here because we are part of the country, the progressive, thinking part. We do not hate the country, nor it'smilitary, but we do hate BushKKKo. We are here changing the country back to the vision it once had before the neo-cons came into power and tried to drag it back 100 years and turn it into the fourth reich.
The question is, why don't people likeyou leave? There are plenty of third world dictatorships that would love to have a bunch of fascists such as yourself, rather than trying to make the US another third world dictatorship?

I am just as conservative as I can possibly be. I am pro life, pro Iraq, pro troops, and in spite of some of his crazy choices, I am pro Bush. I love God and my country, and I think liberals are off their nut.
But without them things would go too far right. Does that make sense? The far right and the far left keep things centered. If the far right were to leave, things would get WAY too liberal. If the far left would shut up and go away, the far right would take over. We balance each other out & keep things in the center.
I just wish the left would not be so....crazy.

Okay, let me be the first to say this. We are, possibly, on the verge of World War Three (Cool it with the cat calls, no one knows how this situation with North Korea will break). I am wondering if very soon it is not going to matter. Conservative, or Progressive, at some point we who are here are all Americans ... no matter what difference of opinion we do have.

Why Clinton was president, did you leave the country? Use your brain. We all live here for the same reason: we're too lazy and insecure to go anywhere else. Watch the movie Failure To Launch and you'll understand why people still live in this country.

who the hell are you to suggest that "liberals" should leave? The most american thing a citizen can do is to dissent and protest a tyrannical gov't. Or don't u know anything about a lil thing called the constitution? or it's founding fathers? Get lost conserv-o-nut!
liberals are born here, work here, pay taxes here, own land here, go to school here, and worship here like all other citizens. You are out of line for suggesting that liberals are anything other than citizens who love their country.
shut up...people like u make me wanna vomit

Because this is one of the few countries where they would not be killed outright. Let them go to any Arabic or African country with their lifestyles and complaints, and they would be driven out. They should try to say the things they say in North Korea or China.
They would be wormfood, unless you are rich and can hire bodyguards.

They stop the country being overrun by hawkish, ignorant conservatives (that's no offence to the compassionate conservatives I'm sure you also have). Roll on the 2008 Election
