um yes do you know what the defination of a racist is? it's not white people saying hateful things about black people.
Racism refers to various belief systems maintaining that humans can be separated into various groups based on physical attributes and that these groupings determine or influence cultural or individual achievement or the essential value of human beings. This can lead to hostility against individuals based on a perceived or ascribed "race".-wikipedia

Yes they can. Racism is not only in the white race anymore. Just as many African-Americans can be a racist. It's roll reversal. So many of us have been able to purchase expensive homes, drive expensive cars, go on expensive vacations, send their kids to private schools, till they look down their noses at those of us who still have to send ours to public school, live in second rate home, drive second rate cars and go on second rate vacations. But check this out, most of those who do this is not very happy, where people like me find happiness in the smallest thing. I would rather be happy with what I have than to criticize some one who doesn't have as much as I do.

People tend to think that racisim is between a white person and a black person, but it isn't. Racisim can happen between white people and Chinese people, black people between Mexican people, Chinese people and Indian people and so on.
Racisim is a deadly disease that is all over the world!!
If people would only quit looking at other people's skin, and paying more attention to the people's insides, this world would be a much better place. With racisim, there are judge mental people as well. And a lot of other negatives.
One or two people here or there can't change the world's thinking. Many people all over the world must make an effort to change their behaviors and thinking patterns.

Of course. Hatred and prejudice know no racial boundaries, unfortunately. Some Blacks are so prejudiced that they put people of their own race down if they feel they are too educated, belong to the wrong political party, or their skin is "too light"! What a travesty.
I detest all prejudice, though it's something we're all capable of if we're not careful, be it racial or otherwise. Blessings. Buttercup
P.S. One of the highlights of my life was to participate in a march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. a couple of years ago.It brought tears to my eyes to be a part of it and to see young people who were black and white marching together, sometimes as couples with children. We've come a long way, baby, though we still have a way to go. The pendulum has swung a different direction in the last many years and we must stand for tolerance and reason, as individuals. Peace.

To the guy that said "look at the black panthers," okay and what about the black panthers, if its one thing, they were objecting against people treating them wrong during that time period. But anyone can be racits, not just african-americans can be racist. Anyone can. It's a horrible thought, i just wish racism will stop!

Racism=Ignorance therefore anyone from any race or culture can be a "racist". There are many ignorant people roaming this earth mostly because of thier upbringing and lack of education. If we are willing to learn about other cultures and empathize with the plight and history of the many different people we live amongst than I truly believe we can change the views many of us hold about people who are "different" from us. We have so much to offer each other and whether you are white, black, or green....we all bring valuable life lessons and views to the table... just have to stop and listen to those lessons without preconceived judgement.

Of course. But im not a racist. I love everyone. And we do owe African Americans (and Indians) something for what our ancestors did to them in the past. It may not be much, but i apologize for my ancestors history. Much love.

ABSOLUTELY!
I know quite a lot of people and as a teacher with her own children I am in contact with people (not family) 12+ hours a day. I live and work in a culturally diverse and economically diverse area....lots of different people. I have worked with many different races and my children socialize with many different races....HOWEVER, I in a one on one situation felt the poison of racism when with another African-American mom. I felt white. That being said....I must assure you I did nothing to upset this mom....she took one look at me, my skin, and was disgusted. I walked away....glad to be out of there.
