It depends on what you are looking for.
SIZE: Gmail (2.5GB) > Yahoo! (1GB)
LAYOUT: Yahoo! for me, because it looks better and cleaner.
SPAM: Gmail gets less junk than Yahoo!
FUNCTIONALITY: With Yahoo!, you can use your e-mail account to access a lot of Yahoo!'s features, and when I say a lot, I mean a LOT.. :)

Yahoo but not the beta but the plain yahoo. It has better design and better functionality whilst google lacks both.
And in my opinion the Windows Live Mail Beta is the best that there is.

both r gud. gmail gives u 2.5gb of space while yahoo gives u only 1 gb of space. gmail cant be created directly as it requires an invitation while yahoo can be created directly. gmail does not hav a very gud chat server while yahoo has one of d best chat server available. but gmail providesu wid a very strong online community named orkut.

Yahoo off course! for the simple reason that u can enjoy a lot of yahoo services like yahoo answers without further registration....

In case of easy login access etc its yahoo! otherwise Gmail if they improve their login service!
