Give your friend a choice. It's either drugs or your friendship. Lay it on the line. If drugs are more important then you don't need friends like that. Think of yourself first in this case. You can only do so much, the rest is up to your friend.

If your friend does not want to stop smoking crack then you can't help him really. I know that sounds terrible but the truth is if he does not want to stop there is no way to make him....even if you can get him to go to rehab, or if the court orders him to go (you know sooner or later that he will get arrested for doing something stupid to get money for crack) when he gets out of rehab he will just start smoking again. Ive seen it too many times.

The best thing to do is continue talking to him and suggest that he seeks counseling about it.

Good luck

Seek help and guidance from the local authority drug counsellor.
whilst a person is on crack they will not want help as they cannot perceive the real world for what it is. remember your friend whom has Crack is having it for a reason-probably due to its euphoric effects, or some deep underlying reason. You have to be strong as helping your friend may be the breaking of your relationship. A true friend will go to any lengths to help. I hope this helps your situation.

The only person that can help them is themselves. They have to admit they have a problem and then do something about it to overcome it.

I guess you could get them arrested to force them into rehab. Doesn't seem very nice, but I'm not sure what else you could do if they won't help themselves.

Its hard to get someone you know to quit. THEY have to WANT to quit. You can check your local AA or NA for advice.

let them hit bottom.......... then turn them in to the police. They probably won't be your friend any more, but you will be better off without them
