Without a doubt! He's been the best stopper for years, I've been saying that for years, when I first saw him play at Wembley in 1997, when a Zola goal gave Italy a 1-0 win in a World Cup qualifier.

I think he's one of the best defeners in world cup but not the best.

Could be, he certainly reads the game better than anyone it seems and his zonal or individual man-marking techiques are classic.
