Discuss your concerns with your doctor. He may put you on a medication that could help prevent something happening. maybe an aspirin regimen or a cholesterol reducing med. The only person who can tell you is a doctor. And you should be concerned, but stress can cause health problems too...Good luck

I'm very sorry for the demise of ur father. Look worrying, getting tensed is not a solution to a problem rather it is a problem.Thinking that something will happen to u at ur father's age is not solving any purpose.

U never know anything cud happen to u anytime even while reading this answer of mine u cud fall victim to death who knows when and how it wud come right.....

I think if u know wat ur dad's symptoms were, wat he was supposed to do (like taking care ,exercises etc.)and he did not do.U shd make it a point not to repeat the same mistakes.Do not be hypochondriac but try to find solution.U can have a good health by exercising regularly, by keeping a control on ur diet, seeing ur doc regularly and eveday in the morning when u get up just say it loud "I HAVE A STRONG AND BEAUTIFUL HEART I WILL LIVE TILL ETERNITY" just do this and one day u will mail me saying yes it worked...be happy always my friend

First important thing is DO NOT SAY TO YOURSELF THAT YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. Many things come upon us from JUST uttering them,. Our mind and MOUTH are sometimes our worst enemies! Think and SPEAK positive, and do not be anxious.
But be aware that there are diseases that are transmitted in the family. However it does not need to be like that - go for a check up, change your diet (if you eat fat, etc...)
