Does Israel's have the right to self defence?

The Palestinian government has now for several years implementet their intifada policy. Many sivilians in Israel have been killed in many Palestinian suicide bomber's attacs. Through the construction of the "fence" Israel hase been able to reduce these attacks with 90 percent. Where they have placed the fence, I will not discuss, but why does the international society deny Israel the right to self defence? And why will the international society not tell the rest of the world about the many tunnells Palestinians have dug far into israeli land to be able to go on killing israelis through their suicide bombers? Why is Israel always being stamped as the culprit and the Palestinians as a poor, peace loving people?

Self-defense? You’ve got to be kidding me, its never been about self-defense. Israel has over 400 F-16 Fighter jets, and a fleet Apache helicopters (and that’s only cracking the surface of their extensive arsenal). The Palestinians don’t even have and organized army. There is no plausible circumstance where 2 of the deadliest aircrafts in the world can be used in self defense against civilians. Israel isn’t looking to defend itself it wants to dominate the Palestinian people. For the vast majority of the time since Israel was deemed a nation in 1948 it has had military encampments outside the boundaries designated for it-in Breech of international law. The Palestinians aren’t attack the Israelis, they are fighting back-that’s why international society is siding with Palestine, they are the victims.

A little FYI: The first recorded terrorist bombing in Israel was committed by an Israeli man. The Palestinians simply picked up the idea and ran with it, and it’s the only thing keeping Israel from completely dominating the Palestinians because it’s the one thing the Israeli army can’t control.

Israel has the right to self defense to Suicides & kidnappings. How much more logical is that.

Self defense is needed when others are calling for them to be wiped off the earth.......it was only half a century ago when another person used this belief and it caused a world war. When the Gaza government can not even accept Israel statehood, there are some mental problems with not just the leaders.

I guess its true, life is stranger than fiction....

I think Palestinian militants should just go all out war. If your cause is just, people will back you. If you lose due to your unjustified causes/tactics and lose the war, accept it and get over your own ignorance.

Militants are ungodly, unjust, murderers in the most basic form of life. That is why they can never carry out war with their own hands. (Osama, Hamas, etc.) To use people's children to cover their own cowardice, even a woman should be clear enough in this understanding. Yet there were female bombers......

What good is money for the suicide if your child is dead? If I had neighbors plotting suicide with my children, sure I would be eventually forced to act upon self defense. Even against my "own" people. If I am not dead already....

Its too bad, the media and the leaders would make Israel look like it provoke the fights, and pushed people into "suicides".

Everyone has the right to self defense, the only problem with applying it to Israel is that their country was forced into being, and they chose a very bad place to put it. So do they have the right to defend what was taken from other people? Probably yes, after all most countries were taken off other people. But they must ask if what they are defending is worth it in the end. Would you defend a country that was basically undertaking vast amounts of state funded terrorism? This goes for both Palestine and Israel, even the U.S.

Hey,
whoever you are, you need to know that Israel is an occupation force, who occupies Palestinian Land... so it doesn't have the right to self-defense, because its existence means that the occupation will continue.
Palestinians have all the right to resist occupation with all means they choose. In Israel, there are no civilians, they know they are living on land of Palestinians which been taken by force, so they're occupiers !

The Israeli themselves suck up to the the Arabs - and all this began when Israel shook Arafats hand - the world thought if Israel can negotiate with a known terrorist and say he is a statesman then the world was given an ok to turn a blind to evil
