Very nostalgic. You remember the feeling of being young with your first love and if you hitched up with them again, you'd both realise you are different people now! At least I keep telling myself that.

it takes time to forget but when you are happy and contented in a marriage and love ur wife whom you must have loved before marriage, there comes times when u think about your first love but you don't contemplate about them. they are just passing memories of some one you once now. now you have the real thing, so why think about that past???

My true first love is dead, I couldn't EVER forget him. On the other hand, I don't talk about him with my current love.

because your first love stays frozen in time. he/she becomes an ideal. which has nothing to do with reality if you could see him/her again and maybe even talk to him/her you would realize why he/she was your first love and not your current love
