then had to sit out two terms before running for congress again..and could NOT hold a government position during the two term sit out. This way we might get a change once in a while,

The people have been pushing for term limits for as long as I can remember. The congress has to vote it in, so guess how they are going to cast their vote. Perhaps they should put that on the ballet for November. I'd sure vote for it.

I would prefer to see congress disbanded altogether, along with the rest of the federal government. Oh, well.

At any rate, there are far too many career politicians for a federal term limits law to ever have a prayer. And in a way, is that even fair? If people are stupid enough to keep voting in the same idiots election after election . . . isn't that their right (inconsequential as it may be)?
