Being ticklish is not gender-specific.
There are a lot of guys who lose total control of themselves if they are tickled for just 5 seconds.
I think that more girls are tickled because almost everybody loves the sweet music of a girl laughing. What we must not forget is that the tickling should never be done at the expense of a girl (or a guy) who really does not want to be tickled. Tickling should always be consensual with a desire to keep it safe, fun and pleasing to all parties involved - not just the tickler.

Sorry... I don't mean to rat, but since I'm having so much fun with this Yahoo Answers thing, I'm gonna give you the scoop:
Men are not less ticklish than women. It's scientific fact. The reality is, when a man tickles a woman, she runs away giggling, but if a woman tickles a man, he pretends he's not tickled...with the hopes to receive more tickling [*wink*].

Hello! Girls seems to be ticklish as they love to be carassed. In reality boys are equally ticklish. But only a few girls have tried and enjoyed it.

Well, sometimes we just hide it as best we can, but the simplest reason is that all of the blood and feeling in our ticklish parts is going somewhere else when girls start to touch us. Not trying to be inappropriate, just honest.

Maybe their skin is more sensitive, maybe it is just a myth. Maybe boys don't let you tickle them to prove it one way or the other.
