Who is responsible for such e-mails? Is yahoo! mail responsible?

mark them as spam in yer email .... once you do that if you have good spam protection....they will stop
you will have to be patient till ya mark em all as spam...they will keep coming until they are all marked
also, on most there is an unsubscribe area, very small at bottom of the page of the junk you are getting...unsubscribe to as many as will let you
so, unsubscribe and mark as spam is the only way i know to stop it ... and this takes a little time, but well worth the effort

You may have spy-ware on your system, this will send your email address as well as other information to sites that sometimes fill your mail box full of Junk mail.
Be careful where and to whom you give your email address to minimize receiving junk mail

you are... if you give your email to gaming places or **** websites you get lots of junk mail... just dont give up your email to non trusted places and you wont get junk!
