Not sure about Mexican gangsters, but with some motorcylce gangsters you have to fight and walk through the line if you want to quit the club. Usually, you'll end up in the hospital for a couple of weeks, sometimes, however, a fatal blow occurs and the gang member ends up with a cemetery plot inside of gang colors.
