Their president is a nut job. I know that much.
I knew a guy from Iran, and he was loco. Not in the racist Iranian president kind of way, just crazy.
Generally I think the men can grow some pretty sweet beards.

They are one of the oldest nations on the planet, with thousands of years of unbroken cultural identity and tradition. And for that alone we should respect them.
Their current political regime is not the best, but it is the one they have chosen freely for themselves in 1979, which is only 27 years ago and therefore not even a period in historical terms.
Countries that go through a revolution need time to find their bearings, and once Iran has done that, it will be a great nation again.
And I am sure that Iran will still be there when the USA have fallen to pieces.

The only reason American's hate them is because they hate us and would wipe us off the planet if they could. Not all Iranians are like this of course, but the makority that we see on TV are brandishing weapons, developing nucleur weapons and calling us the great Satan.
