Over 5 months ago, while He was in jail, not speaking to me, I posted a question on this site. I honestly wanted to know if maybe my best friend of 7+ years could possibly be bi or even gay. It would have explained a lot of things. But unfortunately, eventhough I had forgotten all about asking the question, He found out about it. How do I tell him that I never meant to hurt him. I only want to understand him. Nothing will ever change how much I care about him.He means the world to me, and I am so sorry that I hurt him like this. If he reads this, I hope he will find it in his heart to forgive me. I couldn't understand how, after all that we have been thru, why would he just give up on us, without a word. Can I ever make this up to him?

wow that's a hard one .speaking from a male perspective it would really upset me [even though i am not homophobic ]hopefully he is an understanding guy and will forgive you
try being extra nice and understanding around him if he truly loves you he will forgive you though it may take some time [be patient] but be prepared for him to bring it up again over the coming years

It wasn't just u thinking i was gay, but how u involved your daughters, and your friends. like it was some joke. when i'm over your house i'm always wonder what everyone is really thinking about me, and what they are saying when i leave. Most of all i wonder what you really think of me, even when we are close. i don't do well with humilation. i believe that you are sorry and i do forgive you, because i love you. but, it doesn't mean that don't hurt or feel less than a man in your eyes.

I don't think you could have scored a bigger hit against his masculinity. I don't know if their is any way he will ever feel strong, manly or attractive around you again. I think your out of gas on this one. Or if you do get back together there will always be baggage.
