We're both the same. Well gurl, it's all normal. people may think you're too emotional yet what you're doing is a good way of expressing your self, your emotion. You'd better cry when reading or watching emotional stuff than laugh at them, right?

Crying can also help you clean your eyes.^_^

Hope this can help.

Some movies and books are sad. What's wrong in crying when you are sad? Despite society's message that something is "wrong" with it, it is a human emotion and a normal response in certain circumstances. If you feel you are too sensitive, there are books for Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) at your local library.

The Highly Sensitive Person (Paperback)
by Elaine Aron

The Highly Sensitive Person's Survival Guide: Essential Skills for Living Well in an Overstimulating World (Step-By-Step Guides) (Paperback)
by Ted Zeff, Elaine N. Aron

It makes you a human with empathy for other humans.

This would be a good thing.

You may not want to cry all the time... but after seeing something sad or reading about it the normal reaction for a person may be to cry.

Sociopaths do not cry at such things unless they feel they have something to gain from doing so.

Congratulations! You are a model human being.

Girl, join the club...you are so totally normal. All this means is that you have a compassionate, sympathetic heart. I'm a sympathetic cryer too...I can't stand to see people in pain..emotionally or any other way. Movies really get to me..but worse...is when I see a grown man or older man blubber up into tears. I can't stand it...tears me up. No, you are okay...better to be as you are than to be a frosty, cold hearted scoffer who has no interest in other people or worse yet, someone who is gleeful over another persons pain. God bless you. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

"Every body cries..., sometimes." We all have emotions, I cried during Legends of the Fall, and when I read the Last Herald Mage trilogy. Of course, I'd never admit to that in person, 'cause, unfortunately, guys ain't supposed to be sensitive. Heck, I even cried during Titanic. "Tears make less the well of one's sorrow," be glad you have emotions, and aren't calloused.

Uh...no, nothing wrong with you.
I do the same as well. I must have seen "The Notebook" well over a dozen times and still cry at the end.

No, but as a guy you'd be called gay. Be glad you're a girl and can be allowed to show emotion.

The authors and writers would be glad to hear your question as that would be the response they wanted to get from you. You are normal.
