the team is doing bad for 2 years now and i think it is because it became so fat, fat with stars came on why all these stars in one place, u remember what happened to juventus they had the same thing before and now they are buying there winnings and way i think the new coach will make a difference he will bring new players like kaka, robin, and others and they will make difference also barca will be not that good after the very bad performance of ronahldinio in the World Cup.

there are a few reasons as to why Real Madrid has performed so badly for the past 2 seasons. one is Florentino Perez, Real's former president. during his tenure, Real has endured some of its highest and lowest points. the beginning of the current bleak period was when Perez sacked Vincente Del Bosque in favor of Carlos Quieroz (former ManU assistant coach). This was a supremely foolish move as the players both loved and respected Del Bosque and Quieroz had limited first team coaching experience. Perez also believed that buying the biggest names equaled winning more trophies, known as the 'galaticos policy.' this was also a bad move on his part because there was no sense of team unity on the pitch. it was just a bunch of big names trying to work their magic individually and not as a unit. sure there were flashes of brilliance every now and then, but after a while, other teams found ways to pick them apart. this 'galaticos policy' also flourished at the peril of the Real back line, which was notoriously flimsy. this is why they were far outclassed by Barcelona these past two seasons...who also has big names, but they are one cohesive unit united under an inspiring and technically gifted coach in former Dutch football star Frank Rijkaard. and lastly, age has affected many of the 'galacticos' with Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Beckham, Figo, Raul, Ronaldo and various other players who were/are in their starting 11 approaching older ages (at least in soccer). their fortunes look to change this season with a new president at the helm and a fantastic new coach in Fabio Capello, one of the most successful coaches in club football history. they also are rumored to make the biggest splash in the transfer market this season, supposedly trying to bring in Kaka, Arjen Robben, Cesc Fabregas, Cristiano Ronaldo, Fabio Cannavaro, Emerson and others. this also would mean a mass exodus of the aging 'galacticos' which would be a good thing in my opinion. with a goldmine of fresh young talent and a strong and charismatic coach at the helm, look for Real to start dazzling the notoriously fickle audiences at the Bernabeu in no time. I can't wait for the club season to start!!!

I guess experience and quality of posession is important for Real Madrid, but age seems to be catching on with Real Madrid's star studded team. It's time for the likes of Robinho to take on the mantle

Team Work. They don't have it. They have two many individual talents and the organizations is a mess. They are constantly changing coaches and releasing and acquiring players new players constantly. They are not stable.

They need a new gospel. Old one based on money. Ask yourself "what's right with real madrid?" - therein lies your answer

they out of luck and less motivation...i think they take too much tension and it's like that they can't be wrong...
ehm...i think they need a great playmaker like juan roman riquelme...that will be good umh maybe added with cristiano ronaldo + cesc fabregas...sounds good??? =)
