we have gone through a lot of tragedys together and have been there for each other, we understand each other more than anyone else. we are not just kissing cousins. and have a strong deep relationship.

about having kids its rubbish that there will be greater genetic abnormalitys than other couples, unless there is a family history of such diseases. charles darwin says there is nothing wrong with it and he did marry his cousin as did albert einstien

That is so nasty and gross. It would be like kissing your brother or sister. I do hope you know if you have kids there will be major problems. What do your parents and other family members think.
Did you know if you were to have children besides being your kids they would also be your second cousins. And your brothers and sisters would also be brother and sister inlaws, when actually they should your childrens cousins. So your aunt and uncle will be come your inlaws. When I had a child, my daughter became my cousins second cousin, then when my cousin had a child my daughter became my cousins child third cousin. I am not trying to be mean or cruel but if you have children there is a very high chance they will be mentally retarted. And I am not being mean, that is if they even live. When you get older and if you do have kids and they get older they are gonna ask question like how come both sets of my grandparents are related to each other. Most cousins grow up together like brothers and sisters. What you is doing is wrong and in my opinion is incest. Thery are laws against this sort of thing. Just think what this will do to the rest of your family.

Well that depends are you first cousins or second cousins? First cousins its kinda gross, she's your mother or father's niece, that's the same the blood running in your veins as well. Second cousins are ok, so are third cousins and fourth cousins. But still either way it's family. Just think everytime you pass by someone they'll literally have the right to say 'Keeping it in the family huh?'

In some states of the USA it's legal to marry you're first cousin, in other states it's illegal and there are some in the middle that will allow cousins to marry after a certain age. Should look it up sometime in case the relationship is that deep.

I think this is a difficult situation because 1st cousins are sort of in the middle with this sort of thing. If you were more closely related, it would be wrong, if you were slightly further apart in blood relations then it would be considered ok. I think that as long as it is not going to hurt other family members and they accept it, that should be ok. Normally, in relationships, I would say it is only the 2 of you who matter but in this situation, you do need to consider other family members.

I am with my second cousin and we are very happy together. Just because some people are with there first or second does not mean it always about sex.
we help each other with groc and bills for our house we rent . we share all of the expenses together and it is working out great.
we have know each other for 40 years and my husband is my aunt son so to me it is alright. at least i am not alone. He is someone who really cares and takes care of things too.

this is a tricky one. I know you cant help who you fall in love with, but i don't know wether a blood relation is someone who you should be with. I don't think being in a relationship with a cousin in illegal is it? At least not in England, therefore, as i said, tricky. I don't have a major problem with it i suppose, as long as its not just because someone 'fancies' their cousin, and it is something a lot more than that. I know that the thought of being in a relationship with one of my cousins makes me shudder, i just don't look at them that way at all.
